Amy O'Connor

I started with a hands-on background that started in concreting which taught me the value of hard work and getting the details right. That hands-on experience eventually led me into the world of building design, where I found a real passion for design work and creating.

 

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me with my Brittanys. I’m an active in the dog sport world and love the energy and joy they bring to both training and competition. I’ve also explored half of Australia in a van, and that travel experience continues to inspire my design work by exploring the buildings in the many different climates Australia had to offer.

 

I’ve always enjoyed working through puzzles and challenges—whether it’s finding clever design solutions or working out how to attend the next dog trial.

 

I founded North Vic Drafting in 2012. After years of working alongside other builders, I officially became registered with the VBA in 2020 and with that, the ability to take on a wider range of projects.
